Initial Feedback & Development plan

Hi to anyone reading this.

Initial feedback of the newly released and updated scripts has been positive but there have been a few requests. So here is what i'm thinking of doing...

imageMenu.
  • option to reveal the images from the center/left/right.
slideshow.
  • option to set the direction for the transition for wipe/slide effects for Next/Previous functions.
multiBox.
  • allow for quicktime options
  • allow for flash options
  • support for querystring parameters
  • support for external urls
if you have any other requests please leave a comment.

Great work, really useful, however your form validation script does not actually send data once everything is filled in, I had to modify your script for it to send data: http://www.thekovonetwork.net/joinnow.php

I would truly love to use your slideshow on a client's website I am building. I'm hoping I can separate the thumbnail div from the container div and have the thumbs vertically displayed to the right side of the main image. First I have to get it to work though. If you are available to help-I'd appreciate it.

Nice job. All stuff on this site is great and i think Multibox would be my favoriteBox if there was no problem with opening php pages with url values. Thanx for sharing it.

Hi,
I've tested the rounded corners and if you use the latest mootools-beta-1.2b2-compatible.js it needs to be the compatible version else it dies on line 41.
I would prefer to use the non compat version, is there a quick fix for this problem?
Cheers
Jumbo

If anyone out there has a "Multibox for Idiots" tutorial, please post the link.

There isn't any documentation at all and I've been unable to get multibox to work for me during the past two weeks (and that's after asking someone else for help, too).

I love they way it works on the phatfusion site, but somehow it doesn't work for me. And without some information I'm stuck.

Samuel -

I want to thank you for sharing Phatfusion Slideshow. I integrated it into a Phatfusion Slideshow Joomla! v 1.5 plugin and shared it with others on the Joomla! Extension Directory. Look for it on many new Joomla! websites - it is fabulous work and I appreciate you sharing it with the world. That is *way* cool!

Thanks much,
Amy :)

Hey, Love these tools, but I have a question. When opening an mp3 or video there is no stop button. It would make sense to me that when the multibox window is closed or the next/prev button is selected the audio/video would stop and the new audio would start. As I flip through the verious views I get overlapping sound with no way to turn it off other then closing the browser. I'm using IE 7. Any thoughts?

Hi. I'm getting ready to launch my site and am using phatfusion for my gallery. My only problem - how to handle images that are oriented both vertically and horizontally. When a vertical image is displayed after a horizontal image part of the horizontal image remains behind. Could you point me in the direction of how to fix this?
Thank you!

Hi. I'm having some problems with the phatfusion slideshow plug-in..the "loop" part does not work even after I have set it to "yes". Also, when I disable the thumbnails, the images are also disabled..that is, nothing shows in my slideshow.

thanks, i really appreciate this slideshow. i am wondering about the compatibility of the slideshow with ie. for some reason, in IE 6 I am experiencing a strange flicker in the slideshow. In IE 7, I cannot turn-off the thumbnails--that in effect stops the slideshow from playing. any help on these issues?

Hi
I am trying to use the imagemenu. I have 2 questions:
1) Is it possible to write text over the image? And where do I do that?
2) When I run the cursor over the image it opens perfectly, but is it possible to change the width of the once that are closed? And how?

Thank you for sharing these plugins. Great.

/Thomas

I was not able to see this post when you were requesting some feedback and I would have liked to helped a little. The features requested, on the other hand, are very good, I hope you can add them in a future release!
